Ark Park

Each Sunday, kids of all ages are being taught about Jesus by our awesome staff of volunteers. If you would like to help out on Sunday morning with our youth ministries, please contact Ryan Pursch at ryan@clcchurch.com. Opportunities are available in the nursery, 2 year old class, 3-4 year old class and our kindergarten class.

Kidz Adventure

Kidz Adventure is our kindergarten through 5th grade group that meets every Sunday from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. A typical meeting will include worship, an inter-active lesson, maybe some food and a surprise or two. For more information, call the church office at 812-466-6766.

The Edge

The Edge is our Jr. High school group that meets every Sunday from 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm. A typical meeting will include worship, an inter-active lesson, maybe some food and a surprise or two. For more information, visit http://www.underrowers.com.

Under Rowers

The Under Rowers are our high school group that meets every Sunday evening from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm. A typical evening will include worship, an inter-active lesson, maybe some food and a surprise or two. For more information, visit http://www.underrowers.com.

Growth & Groups

Christian Women’s Fellowship

The ladies of Cross Lane meet the first Tuesday of each month for fellowship and service. The CWF serves Cross Lane by helping our missionaries, special community outreach projects, and the Christmas Craft Workshop, an outreach ministry which takes place each December.

Short Term Missions

Cross Lane goes on a mission trip approximately once per year. We have been to Arizona, Kentucky, West Virginia, Ohio, Honduras and Thailand. Watch for details on where we will be heading to next.

Small Groups Ministry

People involved in small groups at Cross Lane have committed to meet regularly for prayer, study, accountability and fellowship. They come together to ask and answer tough questions. There is community in our small groups, and we invite you to join one today. We are also always in need of facilitators. Contact Tracy at tracy@clcchurch.com for more information.

Softball

Cross Lane loves to play softball. We have a competitive team for the men and a recreational team that is co-ed. Signup sheets for softball can be found at our Welcome Center just prior to softball season.

 

Worship & Outreach

Cross Lane Cafe’ and Bookstore

Help us provide hospitality to those that attend Cross Lane each week by serving coffee in the cafe’. Contact Kyle Nelson for more information at kyle@clcchurch.com.

Host Team

Help us show the warmness of Cross Lane by volunteering to be on the Host Team. Each Sunday morning (and some special events) we need people to help with greeting, ushering, parking and working at the welcome center. A willingness and a warm smile are all that is necessary to participate in this ministry. Contact Tracy for more information at tracy@clcchurch.com.

Kids Hope USA

Kids Hope USA is a mentoring ministry in the local elementary school. In Cross Lane’s case, the school is Terre Town Elementary. Volunteers from Cross Lane spend one hour each week with a child who has been identified by the school as in need of a mentoring relationship. Training and a background check are necessary to participate in this very rewarding outreach ministry. Click here if interested.

Kid Kare Project, Inc.

Cross Lane has partnered with Kid Kare Project, Inc. as an outreach to Terre Town Elementary School and the community. This organization was formed to assist underprivileged children. They believe that during the formative school years a child is developing both physically and emotionally and it is important for a child to have material needs met in order to develop a good sense of self and self-worth. Kid Kare’s goal is to enrich the identified student’s confidence and self-worth through tangible items deemed necessary. Pantry Ministry

Cross Lane frequently has requests from someone in the community who needs food. Usually when this happens, we provide for them out of our food pantry. We also provide food baskets for people at Christmas and Thanksgiving. If you would like to help with this ministry contact the church office.

Power Room Prayer Ministry

The power room is occupied during our morning worship services by someone committed to praying for our church, her leaders, pastors and elders, the ministries of the church and the surrounding churches. Tech Ministry
